[UK] PhD Studentships in Medicine at University of St Andrews

Applications are invited for PhD studentships, to be held in the Bute Medical School, at the University of St Andrews. Up to four positions will be available to work in the laboratories of the following recently appointed members of staff:

* Dr Lindsey Kent (Molecular genetic studies of childhood neurodevelopmental conditions)
* Dr Joanna Parish (The role of the DNA helicase ChlR1 in sister chromatid cohesion exchange)
* Dr Russell Crawford (Investigation of novel associated proteins of the NDPK-A / AMPK¦Á1 substrate channelling complex)
* Dr Paul Reynolds (The role of polycomb repressors in breast cancer progression)
The successful candidates will join a rapidly expanding Medical School, with current active research areas including Biophotonics, Immunology, Radiobiology, Carcinogenesis, Neuroscience, Cancer Gene Therapy and Health Psychology.
