The University of Luxembourg, established 2003, has just opened its new
Laboratory for photovoltaics and advanced semiconductors
and is looking for 2 PhD students
2-year contract, 40h/week renewable once Ref : RAF 107 K001 (Attract programme)
Our goal is to develop thin film solar cells. The proposed projects are multi-disciplinary and challenging, involving both synthesis as well as material and device characterization.
You
have excellent knowledge of either inorganic or physical chemistry, or solid state physics
have a master or diploma degree with very good grades
are curious, committed, and creative
want to work on solar cell materials
Experience with any of the following is advantageous: electrochemistry, ionic liquids, inorganic or solid state synthesis.
